WHERE IMPACT IS TAKING US

GHANA

Our lead Pastor Moses, is based in Tamale and has a passion for evangelism in remote areas of northern Ghana. A faithful outreach team travels with him to provide preventive health screening and dispenses medical supplies. Through the congregational giving from Zion Global Ministries, one member of the ZGM Ghana team completed her nursing studies and continues to visit individuals during crusades or at homes. She provides health education and completes blood pressure checks for adults. The area has no access to ongoing public health services.

KENYA

For over two decades Zion Global Missions, in partnership with Zion Global Ministries, has provided financial support and in-kind donations for clothing, books/Bibles, disposable medical supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic and purchased goats for widows and children living in six villages located in Kitui County Other special projects have included building church latrines and orphan sponsorship for school fees and uniforms. Our Lead Pastor/Director Bernard Kavisi manages the local work . Pastor Kavisi is also the Board Chair of Zion Global Missions Kenya, a registered NGO. He works with five pastors serving under Zion Global Ministries in five different villages. In 2024 we evaluated ways to focus on sustainable solutions that can improve living conditions and lead to self-sufficiency. The first initiative is water resource and agricultural development, Missions Matter: Water for Life campaign.

ZAMBIA

In 2020, Zion Global Ministries Zambia was established and registered with the Zambian government. The ministry/missions’ work is based in Lusaka and serves Chianda and Chongwe. Pastor Gorden Nyirenda, our lead pastor, has prioritized congregational development and securing resources to meet basic needs of residents who live in poverty. As part of his outreach work, he identified Chongwe, a remote and isolated area that has no school, poor roads and little farming. He is building relationships with local officials to get support for infrastructure development so people and the ministry can travel safer and get services to their small villages. Since 2020, support has provided food relief, COVID-19 personal protection supplies, and start-up funding for farming to grow cabbage and corn/maize. Once harvested the produce is sold in markets and distributed to families in need.

Missions Matter: Water for Life

Bringing Clean Water, Restoring Hope

Access to clean, safe water is something many of us take for granted, yet millions of people around the world still face daily challenges obtaining this basic necessity. The Missions Matter: Water for Life initiative is dedicated to helping provide sustainable access to clean water for communities in need. By supporting water projects and infrastructure improvements, this mission helps improve health, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for families to thrive. Safe water not only reduces the risk of waterborne illnesses but also supports education, economic growth, and long-term community development. Clean water remains one of the most powerful ways to transform lives and create lasting impact.
